AFP advanced food products llc is looking for a motivated individual to join our team as an Assistant Production Supervisor.

In this role you would supervise, train and motivate employees. You would also work as a team to meet quality standards, production goals, efficiencies and customer satisfaction while maintaining a safe work environment for everyone

Standard hours for our 3rd shift are Sunday-Thursday 10pm-6am.

A Day in the Life | Responsibilities: 

• Coordinate with Production Supervisor work assignments
• Engage with Production Supervisor to analyze productivity, workflow, methods and procedures, making recommendations to management as appropriate
• Completes production labor schedule by scheduling and assigning personnel, accomplishing work results, establishing priorities, monitoring progress, revising schedules to minimize OT, resolving conflict, reporting results of the shift production daily
• Oversee the production process looking for ways to improve efficiencies, meeting all production quotas and deadlines
• Responsible to meet all food safety, quality and customer requirements for this position

What You Must Know | Education and Experience: 

• 2-4 years in a leadership role in a manufacturing or factory setting preferred, or equivalent experience in food manufacturing
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills
• Good conflict management and problem solving skills
•  Self motivated and able to handle multiple projects simultaneously
• Good computer skills
