Blackened Shrimp Tacos

Using Muy Fresco® Queso Blanco Cheese Sauce

Ingredients

Yield: 3 tacos

  • FOR SHRIMP TACOS

  • ½ lbs

    Jumbo shrimp

  • 2 Tbsp

    Extra-virgin olive oil

  • 1 tsp

    Paprika

  • ¾ tsp

    Salt

  • ½ tsp

    Pepper

  • ¼ tsp

    Garlic powder

  • 2 Tbsp

    Hot sauce

  • 2 Tbsp

    Sriracha

  • 1 Tbsp

    Margarine, melted

  • 1 Tbsp

    Lemon juice

  • 1 bunch

    Fresh parsley, chopped

  • 3

    Flour tortillas

  • ½ cup

    Sliced radishes

  • 1 cup

    Avocado chunks

  • ⅓ cup

    Muy Fresco® Queso Blanco Cheese Sauce

  • FOR CILANTRO CABBAGE SLAW

  • ½ cup

    Mayonnaise

  • 3 tbsp

    Fresh lime juice

  • ⅓ cup

    Chopped cilantro

  • 8 cups

    Sliced green cabbage

Directions

  1. For Shrimp: Whisk together paprika, garlic powder, salt and pepper.

  2. Sprinkle seasoning over shrimp and toss.

  3. Place oil on skillet over medium heat. Cook shrimp for 3-5 minutes per side.

  4. To assemble: Combine slaw ingredients.

  5. Prepare Muy Fresco® Queso Blanco Cheese Sauce according to package directions.

  6. Layer shrimp, slaw, avocado and radishes on taco shells, topping with queso blanco cheese sauce.
